Amanda Ronconi and Molly Harper chat about Mystic Bayou and other things!

Audiobook legend Amanda Ronconi and I found time to talk about reader questions and upcoming news! This is part 1 of 2, because we talked for so long that Youtube couldn't contain the video! Part 2 will be posted next week. PS, why does Youtube freeze your face in the most awkward expression possible for the thumbnail?

Reader Question: Friendships Groups in Real Life vs. Books

I’d love to know how you build the characters and create the families of characters we love! Do you have a crazy bunch of loving friends? - Salise Benjamin I was not the most popular kid in school. That doesn’t mean I was an outcast by any means, but my interests were beyond nerdy – marching band, newspaper, drama, creative writing. If there was a time-turner available for me to take double-potions and astronomy, I would have done it. I was LITERALLY HERMIONE. That meant that

My first finished manuscript was comple

I recently got a request for all of (writing-related) my searches for the week, so here you go. Keep in mind that I’m working on multiple projects at the same time this week, in several different genres, which is why the scope of subjects is so weird. OK, they'd probably be weird no matter
