I am going to be causing trouble throughout the Midwest this spring as A CUTE LITTLE MURDER is launched on an unsuspecting public!
As is tradition, my new murder mystery will "premiere" at Schuler Books in Grand Rapids on April 21, with my favorite conversation partner, Tirzah Price! We’ll talk about storytelling and suspicious research subjects and sign books! Admission is free but pre registration helps us plan.

AND, I’ll be joining an amazing panel of authors - Alka Joshi, Amy Pease and Claire Swinarski - at an all day Independent Bookstore Day celebration at Blue House Books in Kenosha, WI on April 26. We’ll start with a book exchange, then enjoy breakfast and then a discussion of all things related to books! Or you can join us from 2-5 PM at Blue House Books for an Author Meet And Greet!

AND, I am super excited for the Molly’s Murder Mocktails Event on May 8 at Bluestocking Books in Holland MI. I am going to share an inappropriate amounting information about my research into Prohibition Era mixology and how it influenced the villainous antics in A CUTE LITTLE MURDER.
We’ll get a demonstration on how to make a Bee’s Knees from a much-more-qualified-than-me bartender. Mocktail AND Cocktail drinkers are welcome.

AND, I was lucky enough to be invited to the Big Ohio Book Con from June 5-7, hosted by Black Cat Books and Oddities in Medina OH! I'll be moderating a panel called "Spells & Small Towns: The Ultimate Cozy Fiction Panel" at 10 am, on June 6 on the Main Stage at Williams on the Lake.
This panel features Sarah Beth Durst, author of THE SPELLSHOP, and Erin Sterling, author of THE EX HEX, plus Ashley Poston and Breanne Randall! We will be signing books after the discussion! We'll discuss intimate settings, magical whimsy and the need for comfort in fiction.
