So over the last month, I've packed up 12 years worth of clutter, moved out of my house in Kentucky, moved my whole family (plus two dachshunds), attended a weeklong residency for my MFA program, launched a book, and moved said family to Michigan - all mostly without contact with the outside world, as my parents live in the land that cell phone towers and wifi forgot.
So I haven't been around much. I'm sorry about the typos that have hovered on the periphery of my web site and for not holding my usual crazy giveaways for the launch of AIN'T SHE A PEACH? I'm planning on making up for it at the end of this month, after the movers hand over the giveaways and prizes I've had in storage.
To answer some questions, yes, I'll still be writing books set in Kentucky. You can take the girl out of the South, but you can't take the Southern out of the girl. I'll probably find some pretty awesome inspiration, living in the frozen North for the next few years. (Yes, I know it gets cold here.) In the meantime, the ebook edition of HOW TO DATE YOUR DRAGON is coming soon. The sequel LOVE AND OTHER WILD THINGS, is already in the editors' hands. I'm working on the third book in the Southern Eclectic series and yes, also working on a Half-Moon Hollow story.
Thank you for your patience.
